140, 160 bpm with sticks, hands and brushes. Individual hits

mix of old 50’s tom tom breaks, South African rhythms
and Brixton Drum & Bass, for which Steve
Argüelles. is widely recognised.
These grooves in his outstanding and individual style are
played on a 50’s Gretsch drumset with natural calf skin
heads
An important and rare feature is added for more flexibility
in how you load and play back the sample sounds, the audio
signal is two track stereo with bass drum on the left and
the overhead/snare mics on the right. Where there is no bass
drum it’s close mic on the left and ambient mic on the
right.
As the unique sound of S.A. has been sampled in the past,
